I saw this cute little dresser on craigslist, and I had to have it. The little mid century modern legs were to cute to turn down. I really just felt like it had to be turquoise, so I used Behr Aqua Waters and I’m really happy with the color. It’s really deep and strong and gorgeous. I followed the steps I outlined in my yellow dresser makeover to get this chippy paint finish, and I also dry brush glazed it using Martha Stewart Metallic Glaze in Black Coffee from Home Depot. The knobs were really sweet too. They have 1960 imprinted on the back, so I kept those but spray painted them black to update them.
I didn’t end up keeping her, but she went to a good home just a few doors down…and at least I have pretty pictures to remember her by.
