Today, I thought I would share this quick and delicious protein packed smoothie that you and your kiddos are going to love! Smoothies are so popular in our house! We make smoothies for after school snacks or even a quick breakfast.
In this smoothie, I use ripe bananas, peanut butter, and greek yogurt. I also use a little bit of cocoa powder because I just love chocolate with peanut butter and bananas! This smoothie is so delicious. It even hits the spot when I get a craving for a milkshake or frozen blended coffee drink.

- 1 1/2 cups of ice
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt
- 1 cup of skim milk
- 4 tablespoons of peanut butter - chunky or smooth
- 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1-2 teaspoons of sugar - depending on sweetness of bananas
-
Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
This is such a fun smoothie recipe, and a little change from traditional fruit smoothies. You can play around with this recipe and use what you have on hand. We often substitute vanilla or banana yogurt.
I’d love for you to keep up on my new projects and recipes. You can follow me on Facebook and Twitter. You can also find me on Pinterest, that’s my favorite place to hang out and I’d love to see you there.
