Easter Appetizer
I just love this cute carrot for an easy Easter appetizer! It’s so fun and easy to make, and it tastes delicious.
A cheese ball is the perfect appetizer for Easter brunch or dinner. You can make it several days ahead and assemble it right before the party.
Easter Cheese Ball
Start by mixing the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped bacon and ranch seasoning in the bowl of a stand mixer. It’s important to have the cream cheese and cheddar cheese at room temperature so they blend well together.
Then place mixture onto plastic wrap and form carrot shape.
Refrigerate for at least four hours and up to 3 days before. Once cheese ball is firm, press finely shredded cheddar cheese onto cheese ball.
Use fresh parsley to garnish and serve as the carrot top. That’s it, so simple!
I loved this carrot cheese ball so much I put it on a bigger cheeseboard and added some cherry tomatoes and black olives to make a really eye catching display.
This is such a fun appetizer idea for Easter! Easter is such a busy weekend for us, and I love the idea of something simple I can make ahead. When making ahead, I recommend leaving the cheeseball in the plastic wrap, then assembling right before serving. That way everything stays fresh and the cheese coating the cheese ball looks fresh.
