Easter Charcuterie Board – a festive Easter charcuterie board display with fresh fruit and delicious meat and cheese pairings.

Easter Charcuterie Board
This beautiful board is so easy to make and customize. Perfect for Easter or any springtime celebration. Pair your favorite charcuterie and cheeses with complementary seasonal fresh fruit. Use a rabbit-shaped cookie cutter to add fun and festive cheese cutouts to the board. And add a sprinkle of dried (or fresh) edible flowers to make a beautiful display. Add some colorful Easter candy to brighten the display.

Ingredients for an Easter Charcuterie Board
- Charcuterie – Salame Di Parma, Prosciutto, Smoked Prosciutto
- Cheese – Sharp Cheddar, Burrata, Brie, Cheese Slices for Bunny Cut Outs
- Fruit – Blackberries, Purple Grapes, Apricots, or
Peaches - Sides – Baguette, Crackers, Pistachios, Hot Honey, Fig Jam, Easter Candy
- Edible Flowers

Charcuterie Board Pairings
Start by building the board based on pairings. That way, you know that the ingredients work well together. Some of my favorite pairings that I included on this board are:
- Burrata, Prosciutto, Hot Honey, with Apricots or Peaches.
- Brie, Smoked Prosciutto, Fig Jam, and Blackberries
- Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar, or another sharp cheddar or parmesan, Salame Di Parma, and Pistachios

HOW TO MAKE AN EASTER CHARCUTERIE BOARD:
- Use flowers that are specifically listed as edible. These are seasonally available at the grocery store. If not available, try food-safe edible dried flowers.
- Give yourself plenty of time to prepare so you don’t feel rushed. I really took my time arranging this, and it took about an hour. I think the average time to assemble, including slicing, washing, and drying fruit and arranging, would be about 45 minutes.
- Replenish the crackers and bread as needed. If you aren’t serving the bread toasted, slice the bread last and serve the slices close together to keep the bread soft. Slice a second loaf and keep it in a plastic baggie so it doesn’t dry out.
- Keep a color theme in mind when planning your board. I went for purple and yellow with a touch of pink for spring in this charcuterie board.
- Place the complementary flavors and pairings next to each other. For example, brie, blackberries, and prosciutto are all close together, then hard cheese, soft salami, and grapes are placed close together.
- Start arranging by placing large items like the brie wheel, then fill around.
- This charcuterie board will feed about 4 adults as a meal, or 10 as an appetizer.

How to Make the Bunny Shape Cut Outs
- Start with a small bunny-shaped cookie cutter. I found one at Michaels.
- Cut brie round in half lengthwise. This makes the cheese wheel thinner, so it’s easier to make a clean cutout.
- Press cookie cutter through top half of brie round. Reserve the cut piece to add to the board.
- Replace top of brie and fill cut-out with fig jam or fresh berries for contrast.
- For more bunny-shaped cheeses, use Gouda or Havarti slices for easy cut-outs.
