My family and I were thrilled to have a chance to preview an early copy of the Monsters University Blu-ray Combo Pack. I picked up pizzas, and my nieces and nephew came over for a little viewing party. I was excited to watch it too, so I settled in with my kiddos to enjoy the show. I was so touched when Mike arrives at the university. His innocent and earnest heart is so sweet, he is living his dream. When he exclaimed, “I’ve been waiting for this my whole life!” I knew I wanted to make it into a poster to hang in my office. I just love this quote. The more I looked at it and thought about it, the more it meant to me. I love being a blogger and creating things to share. It’s never a career I imagined for myself – probably because it didn’t exist until a few years ago – but it is absolutely the perfect job for me. I remember telling my husband when we were younger that what I really wanted to do was just be able to come up with new ideas everyday. Then I didn’t think that kind of job existed. I feel really blessed to be able to share my ideas with you guys!
I made two versions, one with a little Mike peeking out and one without. I think the quote is so poignant because whether the moment you are in is happy or hard, you have really been waiting for it your whole life. It would be a great gift for a student just starting college, newlyweds, a couple expecting their first baby, someone launching their own business, or even somebody getting ready to retire. There is always a milestone that is coming, and this print celebrates that.
I printed one poster sized to hang in my office. It’s where I do all my editing and writing, and where I store all my crafting supplies. It’s full of inspiration, but I haven’t gotten around to officially organizing and decorating it. I want this poster to be a jumping off point. It inspires me, and I hope it will inspire you too. You can download both versions in poster size, 20×30 or as an 8×10. I printed my poster at Walgreens since I have one close to my home. It only takes about an hour and you have inexpensive custom artwork!

I love this! I’ve already ordered a print of this for my home. My dream has been to become a licensed professional engineer. After a ton of studying and worrying (way too much worrying), I passed the exam on the first try! I literally jumped up and down in my kitchen when I found the results! Your blog always has such great ideas! Those single serve chocolate chip cookies were an excellent study break:)
I achieve my dreams by working hard towards my goals, like when I worked full time and attained my MBA. I knew I could reach this goal and I did.

After my parents divorced when I was 6, I had to leave the US to live in South America with my mother. During the 2 years I lived there, I completely forgot how to speak English. I returned to the US and had to go back to school, absolutely terrified because I didn’t understand a word that anyone was saying to me. But I worked hard to regain my language skills and believed I would catch up. Two years later I won the award for top English student in my grade. This was my dream come true. The boy who won the Math and Science awards that year went on to Harvard years later, so those awards were very prestigious. No matter how unattainable a goal seems, you can’t ever give up.

I went to college and got a degree in computer science.
I am currently pursuing my dream of higher education. I know I can do it, and thankfully I have tons of support!!
I wasn’t sure I would be able to go to business school and hold down a job, but I was able to do it and graduate!
I believed that I could get a good education and fulfill my dream of teaching children.

I struggled to believe in myself prior to having children, as odd as it sounds becoming a Mother gave me a new found confidence. I try to be the best version of myself possible so that I can be a role model to my children. My dream was always to be content with my lot in life and I truly am.

I achieved my dream of being a stay-at-home mom! My husband went to school while working full-time to switch careers. Then we moved to a different state and I was able to quit my job and stay home with our daughter. I love it! It meant so much to me to have my mom home when I was growing up, and I wanted the same for my daughter. So now we have it!
I’ve always wanted to get in touch with my Half Nieces and Nephews! My Mother recently passed away, and I knew she wouldn’t have wanted this to happen! I know for me they are my relatives, time goes by and I would love to meet them and get to know them!
I achieve my dream by working hard and trying to have a positive attitude and confidence in myself.

I always wanted to be a teacher. Two weeks before I graduated high school life through me a curve and I was diagnosed with Lupus. I wasn’t able to go to college then or later, but later as a wife and mom (a dream I didn’t even know I had) I have fulfilled that dream. I “teach”, though it may be life lessons, without a degree.
