Boursin Cheese and Hot Honey Appetizer – creamy garlic and herb Boursin cheese drizzled with hot honey and topped with roasted pistachios and fresh thyme.

Boursin Cheese and Hot Honey Appetizer
If you need a five-minute appetizer idea that will impress your guests, this is it! Just four ingredients and perfect for spreading on crackers or a toasted baguette. We have served this several times now, from family get-togethers to a big Christmas party, and everyone asks for the recipe.

Boursin Cheese and Hot Honey Appetizer Ingredients
- Boursin Cheese – a soft spreadable French cheese. I usually use the Garlic and Fine Herb variety, but there are a variety of flavors that will work with this simple recipe.
- Hot Honey – a sweet and spicy infused honey.
- Pistachios – roasted and salted so they contrast with the sweetness of the honey. Pecans or walnuts would be a good substitute.
- Fresh Thyme – a sprinkle of fresh thyme leaves.

How to Assemble the Appetizer
- Spread Boursin cheese onto a dinner plate or a similar-sized platter. Use room temperature Boursin cheese for easy spreading. If you are short on time, though, you can use it directly from the fridge.
- Drizzle with hot honey.
- Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and fresh thyme.
- Serve with crackers or toasted baguettes.
- Serve extra pistachios alongside the Boursin for a secondary snack.
