Martha Stewart & No. 2 Pencil #savorsummer

I’m was absolutely thrilled to be contacted by the Martha Stewart team to contribute to the Savor Summer series on Martha Stewart Living. This summer has been a big one for me and my family. Our baby girl, Ruby was born at the beginning of July and we have been spending a lot of time together as a brand new family of five.

As summer is coming to a close and my big kids are headed back to school tomorrow, I’ve been busy thinking of ways I can help them remember our special summer. This summer, more than ever, I’ve been using Instagram and my iPhone pictures to document our life. So, when the creative folks at Martha Stewart asked me to create a project that reflects the Savor Summer theme, I knew I would like to do something that incorporated some of my Instagram photos. I love this theme because it’s all about savoring what summer has to offer.

Step One: I’m challenging myself to actually print some of my iPhone pictures and display them in my home. I’d love for you to join in, just start by printing some of your own favorites. I’m working on a creative and simple way to display them that I think you are going to love, so please follow along with the #savorsummer hashtag on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for more ideas!

I’m printing off some of my favorites from our trip to Disneyland and our trip to Santa Barbara.

I’m so excited to be working with the amazing team at Martha Stewart, and I love the opportunity this series gives to reflect on our summer memories. Don’t forget to print some of your Instagram or iPhone photos and get ready to create along with me. I’ll be sharing the next post in this series soon!
