How to Make Nutella Banana Bread

- Spray 9×5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine Dry Ingredients
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
Cream Together Butter and Sugar
- Beat butter and sugar together, then add in eggs.
Combine Wet Ingredients
- Stir together bananas, milk, and vanilla.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
- Alternately add flour mixture and banana mixture to creamed butter and sugar. Mix just until combined.
Add the Nutella
- Swirl in two layers of Nutella and bake.

Recipe Tips
- For best results mash very ripe bananas and measure. The recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas. I found this to be about four small bananas or three large bananas.
- Use fresh baking powder and baking soda. Older baking soda and baking powder can cause a flat loaf.
- Avoid over mixing. Quick breads should only be mixed until combined and it is ok of the batter is still lumpy.
- For best results, use a light colored loaf pan. A darker colored pan will cause the banana bread crust to be darker.
- Stir the jar of Nutella well before using. I prefer to use a freshly opened jar. Sometimes and older jar settles too much and gets very thick at the bottom.
- Use a toothpick or a butter knife to swirl the Nutella into the batter.
