Caramel Apple Sangria – fresh apples and cinnamon sticks steeped with apple cider, caramel vodka, and crisp white wine. This delicious sangria is the perfect fall cocktail you can make ahead.

Caramel Apple Sangria – Easy Fall Sangria
A cozy, crowd-pleasing cocktail, this fall sangria recipe is easy to make and easy to drink! We tried this last year for Thanksgiving, and it was such a big hit with everyone that we have added it to our Thanksgiving menu. It’s perfect for a Friendsgiving or even a Halloween party. The apple slices and cinnamon sticks steep in the sangria mixture, and it just gets better as it sits in the fridge. Then it’s a snap to pull out the pitcher. If you are serving a bigger crowd, you can double the recipe and use a punch bowl.

Why You’ll Like This Recipe
- Easy To Make – the longest prep is slicing the apples! So easy!
- Short List of Ingredients – making a specialty cocktail can get expensive, but this one has just a handful of items to buy.
- Tastes Great – a crowd-pleasing cocktail.
- Fun To Serve – everyone loves an Instagram-worthy holiday drink!

Ingredients for Caramel Apple Sangria Recipe
- Apple Juice or Apple Cider – both work well for the recipe. I like to use the Simply Apple Juice because it’s not overly sweet and it’s always available at the grocery store. If you are using fresh Apple Cider that is more on the tart side, you can add a small amount of sugar to the sangria if you prefer. A sparkling apple cider would be a fun alternative, too.
- Caramel Vodka – caramel and other flavored vodkas are readily available in my supermarkets. If you can’t find caramel vodka, use regular vodka and add caramel syrup (like Torani) to taste.
- White Wine – a variety of white wines, like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, will work. I used a Sauvignon Blanc in this recipe. Look for a crisp, dry (not sweet) white wine. Avoid buttery or smoky white wines, like Chardonnay, or an overly sweet wine, like Moscato.
- Apples – I like to use thin slices of a variety of apples to get different colors. For these pictures, I used Honeycrisp Apples, Red Delicious Apples, and Granny Smith Apples.
- Cinnamon Sticks – whole cinnamon sticks to add flavor as it steeps and for garnish.
- Garnish – caramel sauce, brown sugar, and fresh mint.
